CreditPath is a professional development program that supports individuals reentering the workforce and military veterans transitioning to the private sector. Participants connect with experienced Fitch professionals, CreditPath mentors from previous programs, certified coaches specializing in transitions and internal recruitment teams. The program helps participants explore job opportunities and prepare for job interviews.

T. Howard Foundation
Since 2017, Hearst has worked with the T. Howard Foundation, a nonprofit committed to providing access to career opportunities in the media industry, as one of our internship partner organizations. For eight weeks every summer, more than 25 paid interns work across all Hearst businesses and participate in programming to gain real-world experience, skills and mentorship from Hearst colleagues.

Emma Bowen Foundation Fellowship
The Emma Bowen Foundation (EBF) has been working to increase the talent pipeline in media, entertainment and technology since 1989. EBF places promising students in internships at the nation’s leading companies and advocates for the best practices in hiring, retention and advancement. Hearst is one of EBF's largest and longest-standing partners to date, hosting 31 fellows across the stations in 2022. There are currently 22 EBF alums working at Hearst Television.

The Noregon Education Program
The Noregon Education Program annual scholarship provides tools and resources to 150+ technical colleges and trade schools with diesel technician programs to help prepare students for a successful career as a diesel mechanic. This includes scholarships to help make training more accessible.

Across Hearst’s business units, events showcase Hearst's commitment to employee experience and our brands' broad convening power.


Hearst colleagues once again gathered for the NYC Pride March in 2024. Joined by thousands of other supporters, LGBTQ+ ERGs from Hearst Television, Newspapers, Magazines and Fitch Group walked the parade and celebrated with LGBTQ+ colleagues, friends and allies.



Parent and family ERGs from Hearst Corporate, Hearst Magazines, Hearst Television and Fitch Group joined together for Take Your Kids to Work Day, an opportunity for kids to learn about the various Hearst businesses, from cookie testing at the Good Housekeeping Institute to practicing in the TV studio to cyber games.

In partnership with Fitch Ratings, the Council of Black Leaders in Finance (CBLF) hosted an incredible evening celebrating diversity and Black contributions in finance. The event featured a memorable fireside chat with Verdun S. Perry, global head of Blackstone Strategic Partners, moderated by Milwood Hobbs, Jr., managing director and head of North American Sourcing & Origination at Oaktree Capital. It was a night of insightful discussions, networking and honoring the impact of Black leaders and allies in the finance industry.



Fitch held the seventh annual Women in Leveraged Finance reception in London partnering with Inspiring Girls, a charity focused on empowering young girls globally.



In partnership with Northwell’s Katz Institute for Women's Health, Nancy Brown, CEO of the American Heart Association; actress Kristin Chenoweth; and Chelsea Clinton discussed key issues in women’s health.



ELLE unveiled its "Women in Hollywood" issue and celebrated 10 honorees in L.A., including Danielle Deadwyler, Cynthia Erivo, Selena Gomez and more, with support from Ralph Lauren, Harry Winston and TikTok.



Hearst Black Culture and ELLE DECOR hosted an event celebrating Black creatives in home design and fashion, with insights on careers at Hearst Magazines from Talent Acquisition and HBC members.


The Female Force Summit, in partnership with HearstLab, united inspiring guests like Deshauna Barber, Abigail Barlow, Emily Bear, Ali Krieger and Brooke Shields to empower women in business and innovation.



Spark Women, LatinX and Hearst Black Culture marked Breast Cancer Awareness Month with a panel on prevention and care, featuring Nina Garcia, Dr. Elizabeth Comen, Toks Olagundoye and Rebecca Porter.



Hearst Newspapers' ADA ERG partnered with the National Center on Disability and Journalism at ASU's Cronkite School to host an Inclusive Coverage training. The session explored best practices for reporting on disability, including when to mention a person's disability and how to approach neurodiversity in coverage.
